We go well beyond Federal Government specifications to build in longer life and better appearance at no additional cost to you. For instance, larger, full size stars are appliquéd by stitching through the star helping to hold it down rather than using loose fibered embroidered stars to increase longevity in all sizes from 8' x 12' through 30' x 60' : all of our U.S. flags are lock stitched and the fly-end hems are lock stitched with at least four rows in sizes 3' x 5' through 6' x 10' and six rows of stitching on 8' x 12' and up, and then back-stitched for extra reinforcement against wear in the critical area.
Only the finest premium grade polyester or nylon thread is used throughout for extra strength: stripes and other seams are double lock stitched with color matched thread; gleaming white, heavy canvas headings feature strong full size brass grommets and strong thimble ends on the strongest braided nylon rope for maximum strength.
