Overview

Dorado ("golden") - Its flag is composed of three stripes of equal width, golden the upper and lower stripes, and brown the center one. A brown, isosceles triangle is placed with its base at the hoist. The golden stripes symbolize the town's name, Dorado or "golden". The brown stripe stands for Dorado's Patron Saint, Saint Anthony of Padua.

Coat of Arms

by Nelson Román, 16 June 2004

The field and roundels seem to be of two shades of gold, respectively; since the fleurs-de-lys seem argent, I'd expect the roundels to be of a tincture instead of a metal...
Could the roundels be tenne?
Lewis A. Nowitz, 17 June 2004

I have a book where this coat is in this colors. Dorado in english mean Golden.
Nelson Román, 17 June 2004

I guess the blazon might be: Or, five roundels 3, 1, 1 tenne, each charged with a fleur-de-lys argent.
