Arms and flag adopted in 2000 and confirmed in the Law ("Statut) of
October 30, 2003 (resolution # 89/XVI/03).
"Arms: on the light-blue Spanish-style shield head of the white eagle
turned to the right with golden beak and the gold crown topped with the
cross.
Underneath are two, crossed, ceremonial maces (bu³awy) symbolizing
Pi³sudski's military rank - Marshal of Poland.
Similar mace was previously a symbol of the Grand Hetman of the Commonwealth
of Both Nations (Poland and Lithuania).
The white eagle's head comes from the 1919 CoA of Poland.
Light-blue color of the shield reflects the color of Marshal Pi³sudski's
dress uniform.
Flag: a rectangle in the ratio 5:8 composed of two wide light-blue bands
separated by two narrow stripes: white and yellow.
