Overview

Busbanzá is a municipality in the Colombian Department of Boyacá, part of the the subregion of the Tundama Province. It was founded on 5 January 1602 by Luis Enriquez.
The flag of Busbanzá is quartered green-white with yellow-gold rhombus in the center which is charged with a Cypress tree. It was adopted by decree No. 30 of 10 December 1997.
Information in Spanish:
"Compuesta por dos franjas horizontales de color verde y blanco, interrumpidas por un rombo… de color amarillo oro, ubicado en el centro del pabellón, subdividiendo la bandera en cuatro partes iguales, representando cada parte una vereda y el rombo la cabecera municipal, el cual tiene un árbol (Cipres) que representa la constancia y arraigo de sus habitantes … ".
