Overview

Tipacoque is a municipality in the Colombian Department of Boyacá, part of the the subregion of the Northern Boyacá Province. It became a municipality by ordinance no. 17 of 28 November 1968.
The flag of Tipacoque is horizontally divided white-red with green triangle at the hoist which is charged with seven white stars along its inner sides.
Information in Spanish:
"Consta de tres colores (Verde, Blanco y rojo), es rectangular, con un triángulo en la base izquierda, con fondo verde y siete (7) estrellas blancas que representan cada una de las 7 veredas actuales que conforman la zona rural del municipio y dos franjas iguales de color blanco y rojo."
