Overview

Susacón is a municipality in the Colombian Department of Boyacá, part of the the subregion of the Northern Boyacá Province. It was founded on 16 October 1546.
The flag of Susacón is horizontally divided blue-white-green with aquamarine triangle at the hoist. The description suggest that it should be charged with a sun and nine moons (crescents?).
Information in Spanish:
"Formada por tres franjas iguales:
COLOR AZUL: Representa el firmamento
COLOR BLANCO: Representa la pulcritud, honestidad, trabajo e inteligencia de sus gentes.
COLOR VERDE: Expresa la esperanza, la riqueza de su suelo y es un homenaje al campesino.
EL TRIANGULO AZUL AGUAMARINO: Representa la riqueza hídrica que debemos conservar para bien de las generaciones futuras.
EL SOL: Significa el municipio.
NUEVE LUNAS: Son las nueve veredas."
