Overview

Barranco de Loba is a municipality located in the Bolívar Department. It was founded on 4 February 1800 by Rudesindo Barranco.
The flag of Barranco de Loba is horizontally divided white-green-red-white and charged with a device which, according to the description is a 10 points star that represent the ten sub-municipal entities ("corrregimientos").
Information in Spanish:
"La franja blanca: La Paz. Verde la esperanza y la agricultura. La franja roja el folclor, en el centro de la misma una estrella amarilla con diez puntas que significa los diez corrregimientos que tiene nuestro municipio."
